HikaSerial with Hikamarket

Can HikaSerial work with Hikamarket multivendor ?

Hi,

Yes, the two components works together.
It is possible to assign a HikaSerial pack to an HikaShop product in the front-end with HikaMarket.
You can give right to users to access to HikaSerial in the front-end and change the "packs" assignations.
The vendors can also see the serials in the orders.

After that, it is not possible to create a pack, a serial or configure an HikaSerial plugin in the front-end but it is things that we are thinking about.
For the moment, we didn't have any request for this specific feature so it does not have a high priority level compare to other features.

...After some thought, perhaps using Hikaserial is not useful for my client, because he is just looking for a unique number / identifier per order, NOT per product. => the order number (or invoice number) is perhaps such a unique identifier ? Am I right ?

Yes, the invoice number is already some kind of unique number/identifier.
HikaSerial won't be useful in this case.

The plugin "VendorZipFilter" exists and is used.
The solution for HikaShop works with HikaMarket yes.

I just need a precision / confirmation about the Hikamarket invoice number : let's say a customer buys 2 products close to 2 vendors at one time. => in case of this kind of « multi-order », is the Hikamarket invoice number absolutely unique for such a unique « multi-order », or is there 2 numbers, one attached to the first purchase and the other attached to the second purchase ?

I guess the HikaMarket section will be better for such questions.
HikaMarket have an invoicing system and a special option in order to choose how these invoice number are processed.
Each vendor can have their own invoice number (which grow independently) or could just re-use the invoice number of the main order.
