We can add it to the todo list but it's not a priority for us as no one yet asked for it.

Please do add it in the list somewhere, I am sure there are quite a few people who do use the paymate system here in Australia as it costs a lot less than Paypal for us.

Cheers

You have also the eWay plugin that you can use for Australia.

Eway support is great, however it is VERY expensive compared to paypal or paymate for small retailers. I am glad support for eway is included though!!

Adding my vote for Paymate. They are our preferred option - ahead of Paypal.

Hi there, any progress on Paymate payment module. Have looked at both Paypal and Eway for payment providers. For small businesses and startup Eway is expensive upfront and paypal is expensive on an transaction bases.

Additionally paymate are just releasing mobile payment technology which makes them a great offering for industries such as personal training etc and would be great to have a single payment provider for online shopping and physical payments.

There is a module available for Virtual Mart, but they don't have a simple Australian postal calculator (I had a looky at the commercial version and its configuration was a nightmare).

So HikaShop + Australian Post + Paymate = Winning Solution.

Australia is having a major shift towards online shopping (its been a little behind to be honest) and I can see potential here!

Once again I'll add my voice to this. I'm sick of PayPal and need an alternative.

Thank you for your feedbacks. We'll look at what we can do for the next few months in order to implement it. Would someone be able to provide credentials for their sentinel API ?

Cool. Here is the Sentinel API link www.paymate.com/cms/index.php/resources/...paymate-sentinel-api

I had posted it as a job on Freelancer.com. There are a few bids to write it. But now I'm wondering whether to wait for you guys rather than outsourcing the job. Would rather throw a few dollars your way if you can get it done ASAP. Thoughts?

If you can have it done on your end it would allow us to focus on other features of HikaShop.
So it's a win win for everyone.

Win win of sorts - I'll still have to pay. :P There is a person China who claims he can do it. If I get him to write the code, can I send it to you guys to check that it works and doesn't do anything 'extra'?

Hello,

We somehow managed to develop the Paymate payment plugin but we don't have any test account, so if someone can lend us his account or test it for us, it would be great :).

Unfortunately this plugin wants to use the Sentinel API, which requires us to gather the credit card information and send that information to Paymate. We don't have PCI accreditation and can only use the standard API - which sends across the buyer's information and charge total to Paymate for processing on their website.

Information about the standard API is here www.paymate.com/cms/index.php/resources/...-paymate/paymate-api

I'd like to add my voice for a Paymate pay option as well- It's a popular method for Australians and New Zealanders and their rates are really good.:)
