Viewing custom fields registration form

Hi Nicolas,
I've create a custom field type "address" to include in the registration form. It's basically a "where did you find us?" question for the client's information.
I'm now looking at how they can view the data in the backend. I've realized a custom field type "user" can display as a new column in the user list which is awesome, but how do I get it in the front end registration form. Am I on the right track?

As address fields user fields are also displayed on the registration form on the checkout if you turn on the front end display of the field. You're on the right track indeed.
