Custom fields for products - searching

In features list you mention 'coming soon' customer ability to search using filters based on custom product fields.

I assume admin will be able to turn this feature on/off for each custom field - i.e. able to select which fields are searchable and which are not.

Yes. That's what we want to do. Actually, more than the ability to search in the fields, it's more the ability to have filters on the product listings where you can filter products based on the possible values of the custom fields.

The custom product fields are now searchable. You can configure that in the options of the product search plugin.
