I use hikashop with sh404sef.
my url looks like www.xxxxx.xx/xxxxx.html.html
how can i remove one of the .html file extensions??

REgarding that, you should try to turn off the option "Adds Suffix to URL" in sh404sef:
anything-digital.com/forum/extension/sh4...-menu-links.html?p=1

It's a litle bit different of what i read in a link you gave me. In url manager there are links with .html.html. But the link to category listing containes .htm.html

now i have a new thing. url looks like www.xxx.xx/xxxx/xxx/format-html.html.html

Did you try to turn that option off ?
Did that fix the problem ? If not, you should try to purge your sh404sef URL cache.

If that still doesn't work, I would recommend that you seek advice on sh404sef support. They are much more familiar than us on problems with SEF URLs and I must say that I don't have any other ideas on the problem.
