Presales Q: Shopping Mall?

Are you guys intending on building a shopping mall type functionality for Hikashop? Would it integrate with Community Builder or JomSocial? If so, when do you think this functionality will be ready?

Could you tell us more about what you mean by shopping mall ?

I guess it can also be described as a multi-vendor shop. That is, one shop, multiple vendors with separate products who may set up their own shipping, payment gateways etc.

Or does Hikashop already provide this functionality?

I see what you mean. Multi vendor is not yet possible with HikaShop. That's something we want to add in the long run. But don't expect it before at least 6 months as we already have a big todo list with other things we want to add to hikashop before that.

Ok, thanks Nicolas. What's on the "to do" list?

For this month, we want to add filters on products listing pages ( to be able to filters products by price, by characteristics, by custom fields, etc ). We are also looking at adding a new type of custom fields for order items so that you can ask questions to the user for each product in his cart.
We also would like to add multi tax capability in HikaShop.

We don't have decided yet what will be next after all that but we have a big payment and shipping gateways list to integrate with, as well as a big list of little options to add here and there.
