image help

I am transferring over a thousand product images from an old site to my Joomla! hikashop site. They are in numbered folders. Each folder contains three image sizes named "main" "original" and "thumbnail". Is there a way to load them all up and connect them to the products faster then renaming them all and going into each product manually? I could just use the largest size of each because hikashop seems to resize them. Also what is the best way to name them if I have to rename them (numbers or product names?)

You can put your folders in the folder media/com_hikashop/upload

Then, you can use the import screen of HikaShop (menu Products->Import) to connect the images with the products:

product_code,images
my_product_1,"1/original/my_image.jpg,2/original/my_second_image.jpg"
my_product_2,"3/original/my_third_image.jpg,4/original/my_fourth_image.jpg"
...etc...
