product subcategories

How do I get the product subcategories out of the product Display Module but still keep them in the category listing module?

I'm not sure I understand. Could you explain with more information ? Maybe a screenshot of the options of your modules and a link to the pages where you have the modules ?

When "SOURS" is clicked, the category listing menu expands down and it displays its subcategories below it in the category listing module(green) and in the content module(teal). I want it to display only in the category listing module. Ideally it would be a separate column to the right (orange) instead of making the category listing module expand. kind of like the sub categories in futureshop.ca's "shop by department". www.futureshop.ca/en-ca/home.aspx#

So:
1. remove second instance of subcategory menu

and hopefully:

2. change it to separate column like future shop

You can't do that with the hikashop content module.

You will have to use maximenu ck and its integration with HikaShop:
