SoundCloud feature request

Hello Hikashop people,

I'm running a record label and am currently using VM on J1.5
Now that J1.6 is here, i'm switching to your shop to sell digital music

What i wanted to ask you is if you know about www.soundcloud.com ?

This is an awesome platform for sound files and they have an open API.
Would you be open to consider buildling a plugin that allows users to connect to their soundcloud account, and select tracks from it to show in the product? and after purchasing, enable the download for it directly coming from soundcloud?
This is all possible through their api.

We didn't know about that service.

I understand what you want to do but there is so much to do on our end with just payment plugins and improving HikaShop that I don't see such dev being done in the near future on our end

Note that we have a small documentation on developing plugins for HikaShop:

That shouldn't be useful for you though, and you should be able to do that by customizing the product view files in the backend and the order view files in the front end (that can be done via the menu Display->Views).

Not familiar with soundcloud, other than seeing it on facebook a few times, but sounds interesting for a project I have had on the back burner for some time now!

Yes SoundCloud is huge. I think they have about 2 million users and i think a solid plugin for Hikashop to link to audio files (stream previews, download after purchase etc) would attract a lot of people.

I'm not experienced enough with php and i have no time either to dive in...
