Contacting customers in the database

When customers use the shop they need to sign up, giving address, etc. My client has asked how he can contact all the customers whose details are in the database. I'm sure there will be a way, but I cannot find it.

Thanks to this Joomla! component, you would be able to create list and send emails, newsletter, automatic emails, etc.
