We are using hikashop Ver 1.5.9. commercial

We want to add e-book product, the user download this book after made payment

How to do this in hikashop, Please guide.

Hi there,

Simply create a new product and attach the ebook in the file field of the product edition.
Once the product is bought by a customer, he will be able to download the attached file.

Thanks eliot,

But i have tried with a e-book product, i got the link in mail, after clicking the ebook link in mail, it is redirecting to the shop site and prompting the Login page, the user want to download with out login.

Don't worry, since the client just proceeded to checkout, he will be logged for sure and the download will start automatically :)

You are right, but my customer will enter only the Billing/shipping address to proceed to checkout. There is no login needed to proceed to checkout and no registration set in the hikshop configuration page

Then you should change that option to "simplified registration".
It will display exactly the same as "no registration" and the workflow will also be the same but the use will be logged in automatically.

Not for now. That would require to implement a token based system for downloads and require some work. It's on the todo list for the future.
