Checkout Page on Payment Process error

i have enter wrong credit card details .i got error below

Error 10501: This transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid merchant configuration.

why not showing correct error(wrong credit card details...)
any solutions?

HikaShop shows the error which is sent back by the payment gateway.
If you see that error, it means that it's the payment gateway which is giving back that error message.
So you should contact your payment gateway for that but I doubt that they will change their message.
