Hi, Can anyone help me with how to set up an alert so that someone is notified every time an order is placed by email? Is this possible, and if so how? Many thanks in advance...

Hi,

There is nothing to do. The order admin notification is sent automatically to the email address you have in the "Order creation notifications email address" field of the Email tab of the configuration. If that field is empty, no email will be sent.
