Testing Recurring Payment

Installed:
Akeeba Subscriptions - HikaShop Integration -active
Hikashop Paypal Recurring Payment Plugin -active
HikaShop Paypal payment plugin -active
Subscription levels are created and set for "recurring".

Checkout works, but I must go to "Orders" to confirm the purchase. After that, the subscription shows in Akeeba. Is this standard?

Viewing ORDER information, I see that the payment fee is set to "paypal", not "paypal recurring"

So far, PayPal is just showing that I received a payment, NOT a recurring payment.

If I have a subscription setup for monthly recurring payment, shouldn't Hikashop pass the information needed to PayPal in order to setup a recurring payment within PayPal?

It's not clear where and how the recurring payment is setup.

Also, Show Subscriptions under Hikashop User control panel is not showing subcriptions.

Got confirmation working, this was due to incorrect url in paypal account.

Now the subscription show in akeebasubs.

Still get nothing under Show Your Subscriptions.

Paypal is not processing the payment as a recurring payment.

If I turn off standard paypal payment method and leave the recurring payment method active, I get a message on checkout: 'No Payment Method Found'.

I post here to subscribe this topic because I'm too interested. I'm beginning to do the same thing... I'll let you know if I encounter the same problem...

Are you sure that the subscription level is recurring ? And the subscription set to the product in the product edition page is the recurring one ?
Could you give me a screenshot of your paypal recurring configuration ?

By the way, paypal is not redirecting back to the site when a credit card is used. I get a redirect link, but automatic redirection is not working.
However, it does a full redirect if I pay with paypal. This is live payment, not sand box.

The screenshots you made sound ok to me.

Did you set your account email in each of the PayPal payment plugins ?

If you can't figure it out, please send an access to your backend to Xavier via PM so that he can check your settings.

If I want use the recurring payment, both the plugins should be activated?

Mmm. I don't see the link between the paypal reccuring plugin being enabled and the other payment plugins.

However, if you have a reccuring product in your cart, it's normal that you don't see the other payment methods besides paypal recurring as it is the only one compatible with recurring payments.
