Registration "State" field type is "hidden".

Hello.

The "State" field on my User Registration field is defaulting to "hidden". I've searched through the forums here and examined every "view" file which seemed relevant, but can not identify the problem. I need the field to be a "input" type rather than "hidden". Can you help identify why must be done to resolve this?

Hi,

That's because you apparently unpublished all the countries and kept the default values in the country and state fields. Please go in the menu Display->Custom fields and check that each one has the correct default value selected and save the field (do that for the country field first). That should then work ok.
