Having problems saving product mages

Hello Using Joomla 3.0.2

Hikashop version : 2.0.0

I'm having problems getting the images to save for the products.

I'll upload an image. Save the image. Sometimes I see duplicate images appear after I do the upload. Sometimes, after saving the product The iamage disappears and only the barcode reappears.

If it helps I'm using images from an earlier install, that I saved to my local compuer. I'm taking the images from the old /public_html/media/com_hikashop/upload folder. However I don't see why that should make a difference. Permissions for the new site's upload folder are 755

Any thoughts?

Can you try with the permission 775 ?
The image system changed, and will be available in the next release.
