The scenario is a customer orders an item from portopong.com and selects shipping method of ground ($11.99) then goes to checkout via PAYPAL and at the paypal screen it shows item cost + shipping cost ($11.99) and then asks them to supply shipping zipcode and upon submit adds another shipping fee.
Paypal is treating the hikashop shipping fee as a line item vs shipping cost. How do we make it so only what we charge on the site for shipping is what is applied and no more.
sorry that doesnt do it. when i get to paypal it has the box to estimate shipping costs, then adds shipping. It treats the shipping as a line item in the cart, but the tax comes over fine.
JACK POT! That was the answer. Thank you. Had to deactivate paypal shipping rules, now need to keep an eye on if it affects other projects linked to that account.
