Not sending confirmation emails to admins

HikaShop Essential 2.1.0

We are using the HikaShop user registration (with several custom fields). When a customer registers, they receive a confirmation email, but the admin does not. I know HikaShop uses the Joomla email settings, so here is what is currently set:

Mail Settings

Mailer *: PHP
From email: admin@thewebsite.com
From Name: admin's name
Sendmail Path: /usr/sbin/sendmail
SMTP Authentication: No
SMTP Security: None
SMTP Port *: 25
SMTP Username: (blank)
SMTP Password: (blank)
SMTP Host: localhost

The admins receive emails from other components on the site (contact us, newsletter sign-up, etc.)

Hi,

There is no notification email for the admin upon registration in HikaShop so that's normal.

But there is no email sent when a customer places an order either. The only email the admin gets when an order is placed is the confirmation from authorize.net. Is there a way to set it up so that it will send an order confirmation email that includes all their registration info (all custom fields)?

If you don't get emails when orders are made, it's either that you deactivated them via the menu System->Emails if you have the Business edition, or that the emails options of the HikaShop configuration are not configured according to your hosting company policy. Please contact your hosting company in order to check these settings with them.
