price and sales tax display

The price displays correctly (sales tax is not added in) on my products pages. Her is an example. ($30.00)

The same product shows up in the category page with the tax added in. ($32.70)

What I want is for the sales tax to only be seen at checkout if the shopper is from the state of Alabama.

Total $477.00
Shipping $10.95
Taxes $43.92
Final total $531.87

Is that possible?

Hi,

You can change the option "Show taxed prices" in Configuration > Main > Taxes.
This option is too in the menu/module options, be sure to set it to "No tax" in these menus/modules too.

To change the display in the checkout, you can edit the view "checkout / cart" in Display > Views.

I have Config > Main > Taxes set to "no tax."

I have Display > Content Modules > Shopping Cart set to "no tax."

I cannot find this setting in Display > Content menus.

I'm not clear exactly which file I should edit or what to change in Display > Views.

Really, I just want the price to NOT display when viewing products in a category.
