Date Format in sales exports

What format is being used in the sales table to record dates? It is exporting a CSV format, but Excel and Open Office cannot use the date provided.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the CSV of the sales reports of the CSV of the orders.
The sales reports CSV uses the RFC 822 format and the orders CSV use the format %Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S

Normally, you can change the date format in excel options so that the date get properly recognized:

Excel doesn't recognize it. RFC 822 is an email RFC.

That's the unix timestamp of the date. You must be using an old version of HikaShop as the CSVs use human readable format for dates since a few releases.

We are on 1.5.6. We made a lot of modifications so we were hesitant to upgrade. It works pretty well with no real problems, so the desire was not there. We have a business subscription, but I don't know that we will upgrade until we upgrade Joomla.

Sorry for not noticing the format, it just did not jump out at me that it was a Unix Time Stamp.
