Taxes showing up even for out of state

Like the product!

I am trying to figure out how to properly set up taxes so that it only charges taxes to my state residence.

Currently my cart is charging every taxes. I have each product the drop down selected for taxes to my state but then by doing so it charges everyone. If I don't select the drop down then it doesn't charge anyone taxes.

You need to go in the menu System>Taxes, edit your tax rule and restrict it to your state in the "zone" option.
