-- url of the page with the problem -- : tiny.cc/d6rc3w
-- HikaShop version -- : 2.1.3
-- Joomla version -- : 2.5
-- PHP version -- : 5.3.25
-- Browser(s) name and version -- : Firefox 23
-- Error-message(debug-mod must be tuned on) -- : Please accept the Terms and Conditions before proceeding

Hi,

PLEASE_ACCEPT_TERMS_BEFORE_FINISHING_ORDER is being used to show a checkbox and it's also being as the error message when someone doesn't check the box.
My client wants to show two different text.
Something like this for the checkbox: I accept the Terms and Conditions......
And then something else as the error message because it would be strange to show "I accept the Terms and Conditions...." as an error.

I thought maybe add something like PLEASE_ACCEPT_TERMS_BEFORE_FINISHING_ORDER_ERROR_MSG.
Or if there is another way that would be good too.

Thanks.

Hi,

I will submit your request for a modification of this translation.
For the moment, you can override the view "frontend | your_frontend_template | checkout | term" and change the code
Code:
$text = JText::_('PLEASE_ACCEPT_TERMS_BEFORE_FINISHING_ORDER');
With
Code:
$text = JText::_('PLEASE_ACCEPT_TERMS_BEFORE_FINISHING_ORDER_MSG');
and then create a new entry in your HikaShop language override.
It will be easier for the moment to override the translation key which display in the checkout page than the error message displayed.

Hi Jerome,

Thank you very much!!!!
It works great.

Here are three language examples so other people see what I meant in my first post.
Note that normally the company name is writen instead XXXXX
These are the sentences next to the checkbox:

NL: Ik ga akkoord met de algemene voorwaarden van XXXXX
FR: I accept the terms and conditions of XXXXX
EN: J’accepte les conditions générales de XXXXX

Error messages:

NL: Gelieve akkoord te gaan met de algemene voorwaarden van XXXXX
EN: Please accept the terms and conditions of XXXXX before proceeding
FR: Veuillez accepter les conditions générales de XXXXX avant de continuer

Thanks again.
