[Solved] Sh404sef or joomace hikashop

joomace has a hikashop sef plugin along for purchase with it.

do you know if joomacesef is a better program for hikashop

I don't know. I've never used it and no one on the team did so far. So we can't help on that.
I suppose that if they have a plugin for HikaShop, it must work...

Im going to reply for the sake of other hika users. Sh404sef is better. Joomace was nothing but bug city. Just make sure on Sh404sef you use Mass Actions and [update the values] [product_canonical] and [update the values] [category_canonical]

Sorry if this is sent twice. Seans, I am using sf404sef and Hikashop, do I have to use a certain plugin for this to work well? Also do you mind expanding on "use Mass Actions and [update the values] [product_canonical] and [update the values] [category_canonical"

Hi,

You don't need a specific plugin. You just have to configure SH404SEF to use the Joomla router for HikaShop.
If you have the "force canonical URLs on listings" setting not activated in the HikaShop configuration, like it is by default, there is nothing to do regarding mass actions and canonical URLs.
