Read only view of orders in administrator

Is there any built-in way of providing a manager user group read-only access to the back-end order list?

Before I reinvent the wheel and roll a simple component to do that!

Under the "access level" tab of the HikaShop configuration, you can configure access levels for each section of the HikaShop backend.
So yes, like that, you can give access to the orders manager only for users of a specific user group.

However, a quick test and not working as I expected ...

Inherit parent group acess set to NO

Bo to Order
Untick Manage and Delete for a manager group

Expected that group to have access to everything except order edits.
... will still want to disable everything else, but this was a quick test.

Logged in as user in that group - still able to edit orders / change order status.

Assume I've misunderstood something!

Check that the user you're using for your test is not in another user group, like the user group "registered". Because otherwise, he will still see the interface.
