Characteristic duplicate ;-(

1) demo.hikashop.com/index.php/en/hikamarket/vendor-control-panel

2) i create the Demo99 characteristic

3) reload page

4) the newly created characteristic is duplicated ;-(

Hello,

By "reloading" the page, you are re-sending the form data to create your "demo99" characteristic.
So, you're creating it a second time.
And if you refresh the page the same way, you'll doing it again.

What you're omitting in your workflow, is the browser popup which is asking you if you want to resubmit the form.

I have seen the pop-up, but I don't understand the usefulness of having two characteristics with the same name.

I did the same test on the Products page, the inserted product is not duplicated.

An "inattentive" vendor who does not pay attention to the popup may end up with two characteristics with the same name.

We will add a "post redirect" when the characteristic is saved and we will also check if other component would need the same.
