Multi vendor payments

Hi,

We're looking at the multi-vendor solution for HikaMarket and our client asked us a pretty clear question which we can't answer.

It is possible to make payment methods for each vendor that the HikaMarket has? Our client wants users to directly pay the vendor, so he can bill the vendor the commission afterwards.

Is this a feature in HikaMarket?

Hi,

When you edit a payment method in the HikaShop backend, you can assign the payment method to a specific vendor.

At this moment, you can put a vendor and change the commission mode to "commission - vendor paid directly".

The vendors can't edit (yet) the payment methods from the front-end but we are working on that.

as in that case, how the vendor can set data to payment and shipping details

We started interfaces to manage payment and shipping methods directly from the front-end.
We got some issues with the security that we had to fix and other development came with higher priority (like the characteristics edition or the re-factoring of some elements in the order class).

We want that vendors have a simple interface for configuring the payment and shipping methods, the current version is like the backend so, too complex for a front-end vendor interface (and without ACL on everything like for the rest).

We improved the "shipping price per product" plugin in HikaShop to let it be compatible with the front-end.
So using that, you can let your vendors configure some shipping prices.

Yes I wrote it four months ago. I also wrote one year ago that we wanted to manage the characteristics and variants in HikaMarket.
The development is in progress but it will be delayed due to other things.
We know that it is important, like the edition of the characteristics. But we won't include something in HikaMarket which does not work and we can't do it if we don't have the time to.
I never gave a date for this feature and you can be sure that I want it to be done as soon as possible. And it will be done as soon as possible ; because for the last four months, it wasn't possible.

And you can be sure of one thing : we have a clear idea of what we want to do for the edition of payment/shipping and it will be as flexible as the product edition can be.
