vendor registration fields

1. how can i add place holders to the vendor registration fields
2. what is the purpose of the contact email? will the user email and the contact email receive an inquiries or system notification?

1. Placeholders are provided by the HikaShop custom field system.

2. Vendor contact email is used for most of HikaMarket vendor notifications (order notif, vendor contact, product approval, etc)

Not all vendor fields are custom fields ; some are fixed fields to let the system works properly.
And these fields are also directly displayed in the views.
