Prevent vendor modify product data from the front end

Hi,
I have a few questions about hikamarket front end product editing:
1. What is the different between apply and save button ?
2. Is there logs for what was modified of products in the front end?
3. Can I set the product to be unpublished when vendor modified the content or which program should I modify?
4. How do I turn off the active buttons in the products list that vendor can only sees the status but could not change it?
