email reception problem

Customer is not receiving the automated email confirmations. However, the admin is receiving order creation email on backend. I looked in the forums, but not getting a clear answer. Please advise.

Are the orders confirmed ?

If yes, then it means that there is an issue with the sending of the confirmation emails. I would recommend to check the email settings of the HikaShop configuration with your hosting company in that case.

If no, then it means that HikaShop is not receiving the payment notifications from your payment gateway. We have a FAQ which lists all the possible causes of such issue here:
