product image size control

i am trying to change the image size of products,but i seem to be having a problem. the size of the product images at the moment are 3 inchs by 3 inches on my product listing. i am trying to make them 2 inches by 2 inches so as to put 4 items across horizontally.

unfortunately i i cant seem to be able to change the sizes of these images. i tried in various places to change the parameters with no success.

can anyone explain how i can control the size of these images??

All the parameters for the images are in the menu Configuration > Main > Images.
What you have to change is the options: Product page image width & Product page image height.

Else you can change that via css modifications:

If you could give a link to your products listing page, we could tell you what module/menu you need to edit and how to change the number of products per row on your listing.
Otherwise, we can't give a precise answer and only tell you that you can edit your products listing menu/module via the menu Display>Content menus/modules and change the number of columns and the size of the thumbnails there.

Go in the menu Display->Content menus, edit the menu with the id 173 and change the "number of columns" option from 3 to 4 and you will have your 4 products on the same row.
