options in category level

the restorant has main course with few additions. the additios are changing every day.
the customer order for main course + 2 additions.
i would like to up date the additions for all the products in one category . can that be done ?

If you use options (and not characteristics), when you update the option information, it will apply to all the products using that option automatically.
