1. why at a date choice, the calendar is shown untranslated?
2. how to leave a date field empty but obligatory?

Hi,

1. That's because the date picker plugin is a new plugin we added in HikaShop and it doesn't yet support translation.
Try to install that new version and see if that helps:

2. When you edit/create your field, turn on the "required" option and leave the "default value" field empty.

Hi,

It is because you have the option "default today", it will always display the current date (or the first available date).

Yes, but then switch off "default today", field automatically display some day. Is it possible to leave filed "default empty" but obligatory?

Hi,

You can't save an empty default value when the field is required, so you have to remove it to be able to.

Remove the option "default today".
Remove the option "required".
Save the custom field with an empty default value

Set the option "required"
Re-Save the custom field still with an empty default value.

Hi,

is the date picker still available? The Link " www.hikashop.com/component/hikashop/product/cid-19.html " says that "Item not sold anymore"

Hi,

Because of some modifications in Joomla 3.2.x calendar, the date restriction in the classical "date" custom field won't work anymore (but it is still functional in Joomla 1.5, 2.5 and 3.0).
So Nicolas asked to integrate the date picker directly in HikaShop.

Hi!

I also have problems with translate (J3.3.1, HikaShop 2.3.1. & HikaMarket 1.4.1)

Tried to translate datepicker but I was not able to do it. I searched over the forum, I've found this topic about it, updated the plugin with the version attached in this thread, but it's still showing it in english. I've looked over the source code, it's loading the correct hungarian language file (raw.githubusercontent.com/jquery/jquery-....ui.datepicker-hu.js) but labels (Done, day names (Mo,Tu,We...etc.)) remained english. Also the field is filled with english text, but when stepping back from next step, the field is translated to hungarian correctly.

Any advice would be greate to solve that.

Just noticed a small problem with the new version.
It lets the user to pass the field without filling it, even the field's status is set to "Required".

Hi!
New date pick problem detected :(
Chose any product, for example:
www.novodreams.com/rezerv/product/314-av...chenij-port-aventura
Pick any date (5-may-2015, for example), go to checkout, and in order review appears previous date from chosen (4-may-2015) :ohmy:

I was try to change server time-zone (both direction), test any possible configurations of advanced date picker, disable system cache... nothing...

HikaShop Business: 2.3.5, Joomla! 3.3.6

Hi,

I would also think that it would be some kind of time zone issue.
Try to install this new version of the date picker which includes a fix fixes on that. It might help.
