Can't save configuration was created by retfor
Hi Hika,
Trying to evaluate Hika, but can't save any changes to Hika configuration; get a 403 Access denied to www.scandinavianrhetoric.eu/administrator/
index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=config
Have reinstalled, changed browser, changed php-version - from 5.5 to 5.3 and 5.4 - cleared cache, etc. No error message, just the 403 on clicking Save on administrator/index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=config. And no changes saved
Fresh install of Joomla 3.3.1 / Hika 2.3.1
Is it the little "<br>" ?? (Where does that come from? - and it's not included in the 403-adress...)
Any clues?
Peter

Hi,
The '<br>' is not normal, please check the HTML generate code of the configuration page in order to see the action in the "<form>" element.
But, the url is hard coded in the HikaShop view, it is strange that a "<br>" is added.
The code in the HikaShop config view :

Thanks for your reply!
Found the code - but no <br> (or hidden line break or anything). Have replaced the full com_Hikashop in /administrator - but the problem persists. This is quite strange. Is it a database problem?
Peter
PS: Get the same <br> and 403 when trying to save Views: administrator/<br>index.php?option=com_hikashop&ctrl=view

Hi,
I don't think that it has anything to do with the br tag and that the br tag you see is just a display glitch of the error message, but that the real problem is that your server has some kind of security module like mod_security which is configured too strongly and forbid that request because it contains too many fields or something like that.
I would recommend to review the server setup with your hosting company to see if you have mod_security or suexec or something like that configured on your web server and see if there is an option which can be deactivated to avoid that problem.
