Products with characteristics not available

Hi,

i am having some problems with the update from 2.6.2 to 2.6.3
When i apply the update, all my products with characteristics are not available to purchase.

i have characteristics for color, size etc.
How to solve this problem? Or do i have to create al the characteristics again?

What do you exactly mean by "all my products with characteristics are not available to purchase" ? Can you show us some screenshot of how you configured your product / characteristics ?

Well almost all my products have characteristics like size and color, when i apply the update to 2.6.3
the characteristics size and color are no longer available at the frontend of the webshop!

This is before the update, the characteristic size is shown and you can put this article in the shoppingcart


This is after the update, no options are available and you cant put this article in the shoppingcart


The characteristics are still configured in the productoptions

This is just a supposition but I don't think that the problem comes from the characteristics/variants themselves.
I think it comes from the customization of the product page layout which is incompatible with the changes made for the 2.6.3 and it breaks the HTML and this results in the characteristics selection area being hidden in the page.
If that's the case, it means that if you temporarily switch to the default Joomla template, you won't have the problem. And in that case, the problem must lie in one of the files of the folder templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/product/ that you can rename one by one to identify the one with the issue.
If the problem is not there, we would need the link to a page with the issue and a backend access to check the settings since no one else has the problem and we can't reproduce it, so I guess it would require first making a copy of the website to keep your live website working.

i tried to temporarily switch to the default Joomla template but unfortunately without success!
The folder templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_hikashop/product/ is emtpy, so no files to change.

When i apply the update 2.6.3, all the characteristics/variants are gone in the frontend. When i remove a characteristic/variant from 1 product, the "add to cart button" and the "contact us button" is available again.

What is the content in the second tab of your product configuration ?

Would it be possible to have an link/access to the front-end product page with the update in order to see the kind of issue it is ?

The access you provided didn't work. It would seem that you provided the URL of the main website, not the test environment which might explain why the access didn't work.

We really need to see how you configured the products/variants to be able to analyze the situation.

Thanks for the additional information. All the details you provided wasn't passed to me.
I was able to check on the problem and my conclusion is that the problem is not in HikaShop.
It comes from the Magic Zoom extension that you have. If you disable it, the product page displays just fine on your test website.
It seems that the system they're using in the extension to replace the image area with their own needs to be updated to the changes we made for the integration of the microdata tags directly in the product page.
If you don't have the latest version of Magic zoom, you might want to update. Maybe they already changed that. Otherwise, you'll have to contact them to see what needs to be done to adapt to the new layout.
