PayPal Checkout Failing

This site was used as a catalog, and just recently they decided they wanted to sell, using PayPal.

At the end of the checkout process, clicking on the Finish button doesn't advance to PayPal.

I've read this, and other forum entries in an effort to remedy without success.

Your problem is probably not related to PayPal but something else on your checkout preventing Hikashop from letting you finish the order process.
Normally, it should display an error message at that point. But your template might not display error messages:

So try with the default template of Joomla and see if you get an error message which should help you understand what's missing.

I installed a different template and tested. That was the trick.

I don't have a subscription for that template anymore, so off to do a quick redesign.
