Process for update to hika 3.0

HikaSerial is already compatible with the 3.0

If you have custom plugins, it might be necessary to modify them slightly. In most cases, it should still work fine.
The template might require some work. It depends on what overrides are implemented for the views of HikaShop.

For example, on our demo website, we had to:
- add 15 lines of CSS to the template in order to fix small alignement issues
- turn off the legacy settings in the HikaShop configuration in order to use the new cart and checkout systems
- add the classes of the template for the buttons in the corresponding new options of the configuration so that the buttons display with the CSS of the template
- remove one view file override of the template as it didn't work with the new version and wasn't actually needed for anything
I was able to migrate in 2 hours even though the template is heavily integrated with HikaShop.

Well, in most cases, there is not much to do. You just update and it should continue to work like before.
But if you had customizations, 3rd party plugins integrated with HikaShop, etc, they might require modifications. But we can't give you a list of most common cases since we don't know the most common cases and usually everyone customize different things for different purposes. So it's hard to give a one size fit all answer besides: try the update on a copy of the website, and see what's wrong.

When using Documentation -> Update/About I am seeing "You have the latest stable version of HikaShop Business: 2.6.4". Will the update to 3.0 be released later using the update menu, or should I do a manual install over the old one.

As always, the automatic update is not activate since several days/weeks after the release.

1. I don't have any width:100% on any *_default.css file of HikaShop and I don't have any default.css so I'm not sure what you're talking about. Also, what columns are you talking about ?

2. In the line 1202 of the file components/com_hikashop/views/product/view.html.php , I have that code:
ksort($o);
There is no add_to_wishlist so I'm not sure what you mean. Are you on HikaShop 3.0.0 ?

3. We've just added a patch for the checkout workflow edition.

1 we have some user with this error ... corrected for me
2 for me i have strange .. (no override)
