2 Problems shipping and digital goods

i would like it if my digital goods dose not need a shipping method i dont know how to do this i have been looking all over all i could do is add free shipping

2 how do i add a download to a product that then gets added to customer download area

1. Don't set a weight in your products and turn off the "force shipping regardless of weight" setting of the HikaShop configuration.

2. Add it in the "Files" setting of the product. When the product will be purchased (and the order status changed to "confirmed" after the payment), the file will be available there.

Number 2 the file has been purchased but it didint go to the download section

Also number 3 can I add something thay need to accept a licence before purchase becouse some of my files requires a licence

i tested it when i pay via paypal the order dosent go to confermed how to make it auto do this when payment went through

2 - Please check that your file is not a "free file". Then you will have to check your configuration in order to indicate for which order statuses the files are available for download.

3 - You mean, accept the "terms & condition" ?
There is a special "block" that you can place in your checkout workflow.

4 - If the orders are not being confirmed, then it's normal that you don't get access to the downloads. If your orders are not being confirmed automatically after the payment, it means that HikaShop is not receiving the payment notifications from PayPal. It's a common issue. Here is a tutorial you can follow in order to find the problem:

And how do I add custom fields to a product

You'll be able to create via it "Hikashop->Display->Custom fields" by setting the Table option to "Product".
