Variants combination are shown but not configured

-- HikaShop version -- : 3.1.1
-- Joomla version -- : 3.7.2
-- PHP version -- : 7.0.19

Hi i got a strange thing going on.

I made these product variants:


When i go to the product page i can chose a combination that's not in the product variants:


As you can see the combination: 2.5 liter and the variant 3100 isn't precent in the variants list.

(on some products this variants filtering is working as aspected)

Any suggestion about this?

Hi,

That's normal.
If we were to remove the choice 3100 in the second dropdown, you wouldn't be able to select the first variant of your listing of variants since it needs that value.
One solution is to the change the "characteristic selection method" setting of the HikaShop configuration to "list" or "table". These selection methods don't allow for the selection of an invalid variant.

So we need dependency is this on the to do list?

I set it to table but the prices are not showing up ?

1. We want to have something dynamic but it's not easy to do. Specially when you start to have more than two characteristics. And it requires redoing the whole characteristic selection system to support AJAX selection. So it won't be in the short term.

2. That's a bug we have fixed with the 3.1.1:

Are you really using HikaShop 3.1.1 ? Could you provide a link to the page with the issue ?

I downloaded the latest release and the prices are now showing.
