Hikashop works slow after 4.5.0 update

is it "We've added a hidden setting translated_aliases so that you can disable the alias translation support which can help for performances in some rare cases" about this issue ?

Indeed this entry on the changelog was made for this.
To use that hidden setting, go in your PHPMyAdmin, and add a new entry to the hikashop_config table. For the namekey use translated_aliases and for the value use 0 and you'll switch to the new mode without support for the aliases translation and increased performances.
