Hi,
GD is the PHP module which handle image processing.
MAMP PHP8, doesn't come with GD support from what I can see:
mampsupportforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=29
This page has a link to this page:
zakaria.website/blogs/computer-science/h...xtensions-in-mamp-6/
Which explains how to add GD on MAMP PHP8. However, it seems quite complex.

Hi,
Sorry for butting in, but for me it's working.
I'm using MAMP 6.6 with PHP 8.0.8 on a Mac, and GD is installed and enabled.
There has been a problem for MAMP with PHP 8 under Windows, but according to the changeling it's been fixed since MAMP 5.0.5 (released 2022-04-36): www.mamp.info/en/release-notes/windows/
So, it appears that (1) Marius' MAMP is an older version for Windows and might require updating, and (2) Nicolas' linked to a forum post more than a year old = well before the fix.
