YouTheme Pro

Does anyone know if Hikshop can be used with YouTheme Pro? We are considering it for a new project, bringing an older Joomla site into the modern era. Has anybody done it? I am having a hard time getting answers. It would be pain to have to migrate the entire existing site to WordPress/Divi/Woo but that might be where things are headed.

HikaShop can be used with any template, including templates built with YooTheme Pro.
Is that what you're asking ?

If you're asking if HikaShop's products can be used inside the YooTheme Pro builder (uikit), then I would say no, at the moment. However, there is someone building an integration with uikit:

So if that's something you need, I would recommend checking with them where they are with it.

Yes, I am doing this right now. Like any other theme, you display the Hikashop pages as per the layout and configuration you set in Hikashop and code overrides. Works well as you'd expect. You don't get to use the Builder on these pages so have to use modules if you want to add other content around the Hikashop pages.

I have used Yootheme for WordPress where WooCommerce fields are available as a Dynamic source and that would be awesome to have Hikashop as a source for Yootheme Joomla but i can't see it happening.

As I said, I would recommend checking with him where he is with it.

I did check out the post but the first page is from 5 years ago but the video looks promising as you say, Maybe might be better off talking to the guys from Yoolanders about including a Hikashop in their custom data sources extension for Yootheme.

I don't understand the above "answer" and what it relates to, but still a YooTheme dynamic source similar to the way it integrates with Woo Commerce on WP would be awesome, allowing the power of the Hikashop component and the creative flexibility of Yootheme Builder.

It seems that dform is no longer active. The project is not available for download, as you get a 404 error, and the contact form is not functional. Perhaps you could take over the project from them. Here is documentation on how to make a content source available:

This would really make a lot of customers happy. Yootheme has been named the best site builder of 2023 and is also available on WordPress. This might be interesting for you as a new target audience. You wouldn't need to develop HTML pages yourself anymore. Take a look at how Yootheme has done it for WooCommerce.

Hope you can help us with this feature because you have to admit that the layout of Hikashop is no longer up to date, which causes many problems for your customers who are unable to fully customize the style themselves. It’s much easier to do this without programming and styling in Yootheme Pro with dynamic content sources.

I thought it would be good to reply here so that people searching for similar information would know about what is now available.

First, in HikaShop 6.0.0 we've added display options to the HikaShop configuration to be able to easily have HikaShop forms and buttons on the frontend use the UIKit classes :

So, it is now much easier to have HikaShop interfaces use UIKit styles on the frontend.

Also, JPro Studio released 3 months ago an integration between HikaShop and YooTheme here:

This is probably something you want to look into if you're using HikaShop and YooTheme.
