custom.css not saved

When I edit through HikaShop, changes to custom.css are not saved. HikaShop says "Successfully Saved", but the changes are not actually saved and when I re-open the file the changes are lost.

I can edit the custom.css outside HikaShop and HikaSHop sees the changes, but internal edits are not saved.

This indicates that you have some security mechanism on your website or on your server which prevents the data to reach HikaShop.
Editing the file directly via FTP or a file manager is indeed a good way to circumvent the restriction.
