Update Geolocation plugin from ipinfodb.com to IP2Location.io? was created by janhart
-- HikaShop version -- : 5.0.3

It's not possible to register on ipinfodb.com anymore ( www.ipinfodb.com/register ). They advise to register at their new api IP2Location.io

Is the hikashop geolocation plugin updated for this?

Hi,

It is not. However, the geolocation plugin can work without IPInfoDB. You can just select the GeoPlugin service in the plugin.

We'll look at adding IP2Location.io support in the future. Thanks for your feedback.

An alternative to plg_system_hikashopgeolocation which uses IP2Location.io is now available here:
