Order Status change -> Customer notivication automatically on YES

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know if it would be possible to automatically set “Notify customer” to “Yes” when changing the status of an order?
That way, I could change the status directly and save it immediately, and the customer would receive an email right away informing them of the status change.
Unfortunately, I always have to click “Yes” manually because “No” is always selected by default.
Thank you very much.

Hi,
Here is a thread where we talk about changing this:
www.hikashop.com/forum/4-how-to/15676-re...-yes-by-default.html
Note that next version of HikaShop will have a hidden setting for this. You'll be able to just add an entry with the namekey order_notify_customer_default and the value 1 in the hikashop_config table in the database via your PHPMyAdmin so that the notification to the user will be activated by default in the backend interface of HikaShop, when modifying an order.
That way, you won't need any view override, as it is still necessary at the moment.
