Hello,

I am trying (unsuccessfully) to update my site from Joomla 5.4.5 to 6.1.0. There is an issue with the plugin for backward compatibility which causes the frontend and dashboard to crash. However, in my vain attempt to solve the issues with files and plugins that may cause the update to work, I have slightly broken my pictures page - 3dcreations.uk/index.php/fluid-art/fluid-art-paintings .

Here are the lines from 480 in my php file:

}

In the meantime is it worth reinstalling Hikashop and will it retain all of my data?

I had left 'debug system' on in order to try and resolve my Joomla upgrade issue.

Hi,

If you really have HikaShop 6.4.1 it's likely the error is not in HikaShop itself.
You can download it on our website again and install it on yours in order to make sure you have all the latest patchs.
You won't loose your data so no worries on that.
However, it's likely it won't change anything.

Note that if your issue is only the deprecated message being displayed, you can ignore it and just turn off the error reporting in the Joomla configuration.
Deprecated messages are for developers, not users and they don't indicate a bug but that something will change in future versions of PHP.
