Hi,
I've made a new Hikashop Module to show the manufacturers. I've configured it (screenshot attached) but in front-end it doesn't show the manufacturers categories but the root folder. It is visible in the home page for super users only.

Hi,
@Nicolò :
Thank you for the screenshot, your module is set up correctly. This is a bug in HikaShop: since the main category of the module can hold several categories (HikaShop 6.6.0), a module that shows categories with a brands category as its main category does not recognise it as brands. It then falls back to the root of the shop, which is the list you see instead of your brands. We have fixed it on our side.
You can apply the fix right away: replace the file components/com_hikashop/views/category/view.html.php of your site with the attached view.html.php (by FTP or with your hosting's file manager). Your brands will then be listed in the module, with the settings you already have. This file is for HikaShop 6.7.0: your message says 6.2.0 for HikaShop and 6.7.0 for Joomla, and since Joomla 6.7 does not exist yet, we assume the two numbers were swapped. If your HikaShop is not 6.7.0, please tell us its version before replacing the file.
About the module being visible to super users only: please check the Access setting in the Module tab of the module. It should be Public for your visitors to see it. Also check its Menu Assignment tab. The documentation of the module settings is here: www.hikashop.com/support/documentation/4...op-modules-form.html
@sudkarting :
Oui, c'est le module "HikaShop content module" qui est préinstallé avec HikaShop et que vous pouvez configurer via le gestionnaire de modules de Joomla.

Thank you but I can't find the file view.html.php attached. Where can I download it?
I confirm you Hikashop 6.7.0 and Joomla 6.2.0. My fault.

The file was not attached to the forum post because the forum refused the php file and I didn't notice the missing file, sorry.
So it is attached to this message as a zip.
Replace the file components/com_hikashop/views/category/view.html.php of your site with the file in the zip (by FTP or with your hosting's file manager), keeping a copy of the old one. Then reload the page: the module will list your brands with the settings you already have. The fix is also in the HikaShop 6.7.0 build available, so updating HikaShop by manually downloading it on our website and installing it on yours will also include it.
If the module is still visible to super users only, check the Access setting in the Module tab of the module (it should be Public) and its Menu Assignment tab.
