Product Characteristics in the Product Listing

Hi all,

Is there a way to show my custom product characteristic options in the product listings page, instead of having to click through to the actual product page to change these?

I don't think that this can be possible for the moment, but you'll find more informations there :

Note that if you don't need to handle different prices/stock/information per variants as characteristics allow you to do, you can use a custom field of the table "item" and the type "dropdown" on the products listing page instead of the characteristics dropdown.

Thanks Mohamed, I have used the custom fields, and it shows up in my single product page, but how do I get it to show on my product listing page?

If you created custom fields of the table "item", they will show up automatically on the product page. For the products listings, you need to make sure that you have the "display custom item fields" option of your products listing menu/module turned on. You can edit the options of the products listing menu/module via the menu Display->Content menus/modules.
