[SOLVED]Customize product page layout

hey there,

i am trying to configure the product display page layout.
i have searched throughout the forums and FAQ, i realized i have to change the product/show_default.php

so for example, in order to move the product title to the right area,
i edited the show_default from the "views" part of administration and
moved the whole from inside the to the
i save, and nothing happens... the layout remains the same.
i am kind of confused, i guess im missing something

i know this has probably been asked before, but i cannot seem to be able to find a solution
some tip on how to work this out would be greatly appreciated

if a link is necessary i will try to upload an example somewhere.

edit: yes i am selecting the default front end template and i also tried disabling codemirror

figured it out from a similar post,

had to select the show_default as default in system>configuration> display tab> default parameters for product section

for some reason the show_reversed was selected.
