Shadowbox integration lightbox display anomalies

Having just completed shadowbox integration, i have detected the following anomalies, based on this example product page:

1. The first image on the product page is displayed twice in the lightbox - the model shot that's the first image is image 1/6 and image 2/6 in the lightbox on the sample page, 6 images in gallery when i have 5 different images loaded.
2. when you click on the main image on the product page the lightbox always loads itself with the first image displayed, regardless of which photo was open on the main image display field. When you click on one of the thumbnails the lightbox loads the gallery with the correct image open.

What causes this and are there any appliable patches?

HikaShop 2.2.3 have a (more or less) native integration with Shadowbox.
We cannot provide the shadowbox library in HikaShop but if you have shadowbox in your website, HikaShop can use it.

In this release, we made some change in the product page content in order to fix the different issues of the gallery.
There is no more duplicated images and opening the main image load the gallery at the position of the thumbnail one.

What gallery you recomand to use with hikashop? a free one if exist.

The native gallery for shop is very minimal.

You have either the default one, or the shadowbox one which is free ( www.hikashop.com/support/support/documen...ox-media-player.html ), or then you have zooming extensions like these www.magictoolbox.com/hikashop/

there is one file in the hks override zip file call hiksahop_image.php ?
Could you confirm we must put it in direcotry / joomla/templates/TPLname/html/hikashop_image.php ? .
If hikashop_image.php override a php file i don't find the default location of hikashop_image.php ?
Could you give me the default location of hikashop_image.php ?

the php file is an alternative layout ( new name) or override ( same name ) ?

The override system for the images is the path : The override file can contain several functions to override the way that images are displayed.
But it does not override a specific file. It is just a PHP file which will contain function for the HikaShop Image Helper.

This override system still work but it is now easier to customize the way that the images are displayed in HikaShop.
With the integration of Shadowbox, we changed own the image popup (and thumbnails) can be made, the HikaShop Popup Helper have now functions for the image popups (mootools and Shadowbox) and we hope that we can add more integration in the future.

Doing like this , we can't select using the backend gui which function must be call ?

Hi,

If you put your code into the view, the popup helper won't be called so the option in the HikaShop backend won't be used (to select mootools or shadowbox).
If you want to extend the popup helper using a plugin, it will be possible with the next HikaShop release where we will add new triggers for adding dynamically some lightbox lib in the HikaShop popup helper.
