Setting the number of product items per category

Hi, Is it possible to restrict the number of product elements being shown in a HK products listing?

For instance, I created a "HK Products listing by category" module to show items grouped by category (img 1). Would it be possible to restrict the number of items to say 3 items at the most for each category and have an anchor baked in the category header to allow users to directly jump to the relevant category (img 2)?

That can be done by editing the view "product / listing", in the foreach "foreach($this->categories as $category) {" edit the content to add links on the category name.
The links could be dynamics, but you have to create a category listing menu before, and use this url + the category name to have working links.
It require some PHP knowledge.
